From Positive to Baby
I haven't looked at these for four months. Ready for insanity? I miss that belly. I want to be pregnant again! (No, this isn't a pregnancy announcement...I'm not THAT crazy.)
Some of these have little reminders of what was going on in our lives that week.
1st row, 1st pic - 6 weeks pregnant, first belly pic!
1st row, 4th pic - We got our Pack N Play 50% off at Target! 1st baby purchase!
1st row, 5th pic - The first cloth diaper we purchased. This was around 16 weeks, I think.
2nd row, 3rd pic - Picking paint colors for her room.
3rd row, 1st pic - Painted!
4th row, 1st pic - Curtains up in her closet, and got a stroller!
4th row, 3rd pic - Baby shower invites went out!
4th row, 4th pic - First baby shower gift sent to our house! The line on the wall is masking tape where I taped off the size of the crib.
4th row, 5th pic - The crib is in the room! (But note it is not put together...ahem, Chris.)
5th row, 1st pic - Friend baby shower, around 34 weeks
5th row, 2nd pic - Family baby shower, around 36 weeks

Carys: Weeks 8 and 9
I super suck at keeping up with posting these.
The most embarrassing part is that she's 10 weeks old already. The picture is taken, just sitting on my camera. Someday. Someday I'll be on top of this. Probably when she's 30. That's my goal.
You'll notice we're also doing monthly pictures. That's so if the weekly pictures totally fall apart, we can use the monthly instead and commit to a picture every 30 days instead of every 7. And failing that I'm sure we can manage yearly ones at least.

Carys: Weeks One through Six
We've been taking weekly pictures of Carys since she was a week old. The theory sounded better in my head, before I thought about the fact that doing so meant that we'd have to do this at least 52 times. Montly pictures are the way to go, I think. But now we're commited, so I'll give it the old college try. Meaning, I think, that you get drunk and sleep around.
She's only two inches longer now than she was at birth (well, 2 and 3/4) and weighs two pounds more. It's hard to see how much bigger she actually is in these pictures, except in the one month picture where she somehow looks gigantic.
