Birthday Extravaganza : Roundup!

Below are  links to each of the four giveaways currently running. Click on the picture to be taken to that giveaway.

Good luck!

Birthday Extravaganza Giveaway : Little Baker

Welcome to the fourth giveaway in celebration of Carys's birthday! I connected with some of our favorite companies - many are already listed on the "Must Have Gear Lists" and some will be listed in the upcoming toddler gear guide - and was so thrilled and humbled with the positive responses! I also provided a couple things to round it out as well. (I want to assure you this isn't about to become a giveaway/review blog - this is just for a special occasion! Because three is such a milestone birthday, right? Okay, fine, it's not, but I still promise it won't be all giveaways and reviews all the time.)

This is the "Little Baker" prize pack - a great way to encourage that little chef in your life with their culinary pursuits.

This prize pack includes:

- An apron, hat, and glove set from Hape Toys
- A wooden toy baking set in espresso from KidKraft

[Note: You can enter all of the giveaways, but only win one of them. If you win multiple giveaways, I will contact you to see which is your preferred prize and draw a second name for the other(s).]

a Rafflecopter giveaway

I also wanted to give a bit of information about each company and why we love them.

Hape: Hape makes a wide variety of toys we really like, and we love that they are sustainably made and eco-friendly. We have a number of their products, including a fun caterpillar game and some rattles. They're bright and baby-friendly, but not obnoxious. And no plastic in sight!

KidKraft: The play kitchen that Carys got for Christmas last year (wait, was it Christmas? Maybe her birthday. UGH I CAN'T BLAME PREGNANCY BRAIN ANYMORE) is by KidKraft and we just LOVE it. We have the espresso one (that matches the baking set in the giveaway), as well as the toaster, and it's one of Carys's go-to play items. I can't recommend a play kitchen for all kids everywhere enough. They also make furniture and decor for kids as well - if I win the lottery we're totally getting this outdoor playhouse for the girls.

KidKraft provided the Expresso Baking Set for this giveaway. Apron set provided by You Are My Licorice.

Birthday Extravaganza Giveaway : Artsy Fartsy

Welcome to the third giveaway in celebration of Carys's birthday!

This is the "Artsy Fartsy" prize pack - two pieces of art that will help make your little one's nursery special.

This prize pack includes:

- Personalized, downloadable nursery art featuring your little one's name (digital so you can print and use it over and over!) from Bella Zitto
- Wooden alphabet wall art from Little Sapling Toys

a Rafflecopter giveaway

[Note: You can enter all of the giveaways, but only win one of them. If you win multiple giveaways, I will contact you to see which is your preferred prize and draw a second name for the other(s).]

I also wanted to give a bit of information about each company and why we love them.

Bella Zitto: Well. Um. It's my own shop. So.....this is awkward.

Little Sapling Toys: We have a number of these natural, wooden toys, which are eco-friendly (they plant a tree for every toy sold!) and made in the USA. They're incredibly high quality and Carys (and now Emmeline) love the teethers. We have the alphabet wall art featured in the giveaway in Emmeline's nursery and it's so fantastic; we get tons of compliments on it.  Andplusalso look at these state teethers. Brilliant baby shower gift, right?

Little Sapling Toys donated the wall art for this giveaway.

Birthday Extravaganza Giveaway : Adventure Time

Welcome to the second giveaway in celebration of Carys's birthday!

This is the "Adventure Time" prize pack - full of goodies to take you out of the house and enjoy the great outdoors! This prize pack includes:

- A personalized sippy cup or snack cup of your choice from Handmade by Insy
- A toy airplane from Green Toys
- Two reusable food pouches from Press Pouch
- One tube of baby sunblock from Blue Lizard
- A tee-shirt of your choice from cuteheads
- A magnifying glass from Melissa and Doug

a Rafflecopter giveaway

[Note: You can enter all of the giveaways, but only win one of them. If you win multiple giveaways, I will contact you to see which is your preferred prize and draw a second name for the other(s).]

I also wanted to give a bit of information about each company and why we love them.

Handmade by Insy: I met Lindsey because she, too, has a July 2011 baby. She made the adorable shirt Carys wore to reveal the news about Emmeline, and we have a personalized sippy cup as well, which Carys won't let anyone else touch. Kids love personalized things, and the quality is fantastic. (I'm totally eyeing a personalized backpack for Christmas!)

Green Toys: You're probably familiar with their toys, but if not, you should be! They make a line of toys from recycled plastic and other environmentally-friendly materials - plus they are all made in the USA. They've recycled nearly 22 MILLION milk jugs in producing their toys. We have several Green Toys, including the plane pictured above, a car, a stacking toy, a dump truck, and the "Build a Bouquet."

Press Pouch: Carys LOVES pouches, even now. I hate buying them because they are so expensive and often have a ton of sugar (even the ones with nothing but fruit and veggies). I like being able to make my own smoothies and fill up the pouches myself - saves money and is way healthier! They're great for on-the-go snacking.

Blue Lizard: First, it's Australian. And I love Australia. Like, I'm seriously trying to convince Chris that we need to live there for at least a year. One thing I learned while there was that Australians take their sun protection seriously. The little school kids all wear hats when they're out and about and have a "no hat, no play" policy. This sunscreen uses physical blockers instead of chemical blockers, so it's safe for babies, and is chemical, paraben, and fragrance-free. It goes on thick, but soaks in well and most importantly, WORKS. I'm not exaggerating when I say I put this on both girls every time they are in the sun. Have you seen their pale skin?? (Plus, it has a 1 - the highest ranking - from EWG!)

Cuteheads: I met the founder, Esther, after we both had babies due in December 2013. She is wonderful and talented woman with an equally adorable baby. These clothes are so, so soft, and have a great stretchy quality to them that makes them (I assume) really comfortable (I assume, only because they aren't quite stretchy enough to fit on my post-two-kids body. Surely they would have fit before, right? RIGHT?). They're incredibly high quality and the colors and graphics are great - kid friendly and appropriate, yet not baby-ish. And, gasp, not every single thing is pink! HOW NOVEL, clothing for girls that isn't only available in pink! Carys loves her dress and t-shirt (and NEEDS the Layer Cake Skirt!), and I love the headband that we have for Emmeline.

Melissa and Doug: A totally ubiquitous children's toy brand. They have great toys that are high quality, and many wooden non-toxic toys as well. We probably have about 300 (it feels like) Melissa and Doug products at our house, from puzzles to sticker books to an art easel. Also, they're funny.

Handmade by Insy, Green Toys, Blue Lizard, and Cuteheads donated products for this giveaway. Press Pouches and Melissa and Doug magnifying glass were provided by You Are My Licorice.

Birthday Extravaganza Giveaway : Fancy Schmancy

Welcome to the first giveaway in celebration of Carys's birthday!

To start, we have our "Fancy Schmancy" prize pack. This prize pack includes:

- A Forget Me Not dress in the color of your choice from cuteheads
- A headband of your choice from Little Town Boutique
- A purple flower headband from SnuggleBugs Bowtique
- A set of bitty bow headbands in your choice of colors from Dear Grace and Parker

a Rafflecopter giveaway
[Note: You can enter all of the giveaways, but only win one of them. If you win multiple giveaways, I will contact you to see which is your preferred prize and draw a second name for the other(s).]

I wanted to give a little bit of information about each company, too, and why we love them.

cuteheads: I met the founder, Esther, after we both had babies due in December 2013.

Little Town Boutique: We have several headbands from Jordan, including the red and blue ones that the girls wore at Christmas (and again on this Fourth of July!). They're cute, well-made, and she offers a huge variety of styles, from knots to flowers to bows. And I shouldn't have looked because now I want like ten more from her shop. These tiny flowers! I die.

SnuggleBugs Bowtique: This was the very first shop I started buying headbands from, and we have dozens....and I mean that literally....of headbands from this shop. Like, I think she knows me by name. We've worn these headbands all over the place, but you can specifically check them out from Carys's first and second birthdays [second birthday on the invitation]. I absolutely adore the Bitty Blooms, especially for newborns.

Dear Grace and Parker: Another shop I know by way of kids with the same birthday - Katrina has a daughter born in July 2011 also. She's a totally sweet, fun mom and her headbands (and bow ties for you moms with boys!) are fun and whimsical too. We have a bunch of headbands and clips from her and they're all wonderful. You can see one of our (many) purchases in Emmeline's newborn pictures.

All prizes in this giveaway were donated by the company.
